Last Minute Shot?
I work in a coverage group in a NYC EB this summer, and have been doing my absolute best to land a return offer, but the competitive nature and gunners make it impossible to know for sure if I can land FT.
One week left until my final case study presentation, what's a one-time thing I can do to land the final hit on the FT nail? Or at least something to make it more secure, aside from killing it in the presentation?
Any suggestions? Thanks all.
get sloshed with the MD and sick his toes for a spot
She sicked my duck
i’ll suck your duck🐣🦆🐤🤬
Already did, dude was unfazed. Should’ve been tighter on the grip
ask how lax they are with the sexual harassment policy (shows that you value culture)
Message your MD’s wife on facebook and start hitting on her. Shows ambition.
Instructions unclear, hit on his mom and now the MD calls me daddy
just be personable, friendly, try to get to know everyone and be value add. Crush the presentation.

And I'm not throwin' away my shot"
Return offers are usually determined fairly far in advance, it's not like they are sitting there drawing straws the last week of the internship on who doesn't get one. Just keep doing your best, be personable and put in effort.
