Lateral sign-on bonus?
Out of curiosity, is it typical to receive a sign-on bonus comparable to a first year analyst if you lateral as an AN2 or AN3?

Seen it happening in the 2021/22 frenzy and predominantly by EBs. Generally avoided by BBs and given how the market is at the moment I wouldn't even ask if I'm honest.
I feel like this has really gone away recently across banks, you could probably ask for it, but I would not expect it.
