Lmao a Perella kid threw shit at me because he still thinks hes at an EB
Tier 3: PWP
Tier 4: Perella
Thank you OP
Huh?
What exactly do you think PWP stands for?
PWP = PJT Weinberg Partners, no?
Jesus christ - no one cares about these stupid “tier” lists.
Stop wasting your time on these useless posts and go network, prep for interviews or have fun.
I wasn't making a tier list, I was asking what's the least prestigious EB. Also, I graduated a while ago, just look at my title. I don't need to network or prepare for interviews.
You literally included a tier list in your post. Also, why do you even care? It’s not like you can be a bank teller at an EB.
Like seriously, this is a zero value-add question to this forum. It just perpetuates these types of stupid lists to prospects.
Lmao you've graduated and still posting tiers like that? Go get a life. You're exactly what I don't want to become.
It’s FT Partners duh!
Who cares? Seriously, why does this matter
Lets break it down into 3 tiers: Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3
Tier 1a: These are the best groups and have the best deal flow and attract the best talent. Some people even choose them over a top MF analyst program(BX, KKR, Silverlake, Warburg): PJT RX & EVR M&A & Moelis LA
Tier 1b: These groups are nearly as elite as the tier 1a group but may not have as strong of exits of tier 1a. The talent between tier 1a and tier 1b is pretty similar in skill level. (HL RX, CVP, Lazard M&A and RX, Q)
Tier 2: These comprise of banks that offer a similar value proposition to those in tier 1 but at a smaller magnitude and are thus easier to compare. Also, the talent is not as strong as tier 1 since it mostly comprises of people who could not get into tier 1 EBs or top MF(BX/KKR/Silverlake/Warburg) analyst program. Everyone from these groups will accept a top MF analyst offer in a heartbeat. Some people do choose these banks over Ares, Bain Cap, and Vista though: Evercore RX & PJT M&A
Tier 3: The remaining boutiques which you can all argue about.
Please take this with a grain of salt as this is my opinions from what I have seen.

OP how do I get into a teller position in IB? What's comp? what's exit opps? What perks are there. Will girls sleep with me if I say i'm a teller at Goldmen Secks?
Teller position is basically Global Head on steroids, base comp starts at around 6-7MM USD, with a bonus that's 300-400 basis points of the bank's EBITDA (this is at a bulge bracket, keep in mind).
They pretty much only hire laterals who are also Oxbridge/WHYD grads and have a INSEAD/LBS/WHS MBA and exclusively from PJT RSSG, EVR M&A or Moelis LA.

OK Intern
The least prestigious EB is whichever one OP ends up at, even if it was the most prestigious to start out with.
Bro you're in IBD
Bozo couldn't even it it to UMM PE😹😹👎👎
And you couldn't even make a troll thread mildly funny. I guess we all have struggles in life to contend with.
You guys got trolled. Not funny at all OP
How is every comment in this thread a monkey shit magnet
Probably a Jefferies kid on 10 different accounts being butthurt that JEF isn't an EB
Sad the amount of people that fell for this
Nah
