Leaving M&A for secondaries advisory?
Been working in MM and BB IB in mostly M&A focused groups .
Been approached for a lateral hire into secondaries/GP advisory at a well known firm.
Has anyone made any similar moves into the space?
Looking at what it entails, it's actually quite interesting and similar to M&A.
One of my main issues it seems that it's quite niche and you don't get into the weeds and details of a deal as much as you do in M&A and your exit opps are fundamentally limited.
Any thoughts?
