Leveraged Finance vs. Sell Side Distressed Debt Trading Desk

Hi guys, does anyone know the difference, about day to day work, between the LevFin and a DD trading desk ? I am comfortable with what bankers in Levfin do, but I learnt that in BB there is also a DD trading desk usually. I have to met a guy working in a DD trading desk in a large bank for an informal interview in few weeks and I would like to know if there is a difference between the two, coz it seems to me that are both very similar!

ideas?

They are not very similar, at all.
