What is the best way to approach switching from a LevFin desk to the corporate finance / FP&A side of finance. I have little to no interest in going into PE or Private Credit. Any help would be much appreciated!

I mainly ask because I recently left banking for FP&A simply because I wanted the lifestyle, and now I feel like I'm never going to make enough money. I make 140 all in but feel like I sold away my ability to make larger figures just for some wlb.
Is there a benefit of FP&A that you've heard about that would change this haunting feeling? Whats the end goal?
