The news says that M&A volume is down almost half, and layoffs are happening even at places like BMO
However, during training at my LMM, one of the MDs came in and said the firm is growing rapidly and we are in hiring mode.
im assuming this means we are trying to scoop up laid off talent. Also, current 2nd years say theres tons of work to go around.
can someone thats been on the job longer at a LMM confirm if they are getting good deal flow?
