LMM IB Exits and Lateral Oportunities
Planning on accepting a FT role at a LMM firm in a T2/T3 city. The other option would be to decline the offer and go forward with a couple of MM superdays. I'm wondering how easy it will be to lateral to a more established MM or maybe even EB/BB after a year or so of experience. Also, what would the typical exit opportunities look like for a LMM IB analyst? Anything helps.
what do you mean by LMM? Stephens ATL or Keybanc Charlotte is going to be different from a no name in Denver.
More of a no-name with 1 office and 40ish bankers, but people in the region are familiar with it and it is well-respected.
ignore title, an2 btw.
-if dealflow is good and region is somewhat recognized good mm laterals are very possible. Wouldn't rely on bb or eb.
-pe exits will probably be all lmm if any at all, again kinda depends on region.
Thanks for the help. By MM exits do you mean PE or IB?
