Love IB Grind, But Hate Sales

I can see myself succeeding at the Analyst and Associate level, but I absolutely hate sales and cannot see myself wining and dining clients, so VP, D, MD (being a career banker) is out of the question for me. What are my exit opportunities after the Associate level if I don't decide to recruit for PE as a first-year Analyst and... what should I do? Any help or personal experience would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, everything in this world revolves around a certain degree of sales. You may think you're not fit to win clients now but maybe by the time you reach the associate level you may find it easier to be more of a sales person after gaining years of experience. Humans are very good at adapting to different situations and I feel like when you're near the VP/MD level, you will adapt to becoming a better salesperson because your career depends on it. Similarly, at an analyst level you may think you can't hash out the hours, or you may constantly make mistakes on a deck, but for example, as soon as you realize that your analyst stint is partially dependent on minimizing mistakes to the highest degree, then you will change. Ultimately, it truly comes down to how badly you want it. I'm certain, if you want it really badly, you will adjust accordingly. Just my two cents.

Yes, I believe I wuld be a terrible salesman and the fact that my job is based on how lucky I am that another person likes me and because other people may have stronger relationships than me is just not fair to me so I would not want to become a sales person.

Will update my computer soon and leave Incognito so I will disappear forever. How did I achieve Neanderthal by trolling? Some people are after me so need to close account for safety.
