Hi all. I have two offers for full time. One from a smaller lower MM to do M&A and another at a leading MM to join the ECM team. The compensation for the smaller firm is significantly better (40k+ after bonus) but the name of the leading MM is a lot better.
My ultimate goal is to transition in to PE.
What would you do? Thank you.

Usually don't say this, but you probably would have better luck at the lower MM M&A firm. You'll have to hustle more and be limited to LMM funds, but at least the experience will be relevant. I cannot imagine going from ECM to PE, regardless of the brand.
