Banks in North America will likely only over LatAm as Europe will deal with CEE and HK/SG with SEA. If you're looking for notable American banks with strong EM coverage you have the following based on recent league tables and deal volumes:

  • Latin America: BoA, GS and MS. For Brazil, the top 3 are BoA, MS and GS whilst JPM, BoA and GS lead in Mexico

  • CEE: Citi, BoA and JPM

  • SEA: MS, JPM and BoA. In India GS and Citi are leaders whilst GS, MS and Citi are the top in Greater China. Not sure if you can call these "EMs" but certainly still an area of interest. For the last two groups you have a very large presence of local players taking up most of the business so exposure even at a top US bank may be limited in these markets.

  • Africa: JPM, Citi and BoA
