Yes.  There are a few rules for this.  

1. If your major GPA is a significantly higher than your overall GPA then yes.  I don't care that you got a B in your  Art class if you get an A in you Computer science class.

2. If you changed majors and they are significantly different.  AKA Business to CS; NOT Applied Math to Theoretical Math

Eh, I guess having a 3.6 cum but 4.0 major is a big difference. But it is also kind of a red flag to an interviewer / someone screening a resume - there is obviously some weakness of yours (whether it be math / writing / thinking critically) and so in a sense a 3.6 / 4.0 breakout highlights the fact that you may be one dimensional. IMO I always tell people to remove it.
