Might Graduate in Winter 2022 - BB Return Offer Screwed?

So I'm an incoming Junior with a BBIBD internship secured for 2021. My school might not go back in person in the Fall and if so, I am planning to take Fall semester off. Only issue is I might have to graduate in Winter 2022 instead of Spring 2022. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but would my firm disqualify me from potentially getting a return offer even if I do a great job in the internship because I won't be able to join the 2022 Analyst Class? My firm only hires between 3-5 interns a year bc it's a regional office. Should I talk to them about this decision or is that presumptuous?

I spoke with a BB recruiter regarding my offer. I was told if my school forces us to take summer classes as part of a trimester system which has been floated at several schools then they would work with me to push the offer a year. If I choose to take a semester/year off then I would forfeit the offer as the contract states I will graduate in 2022. Check the contract and talk to HR.

So, I don't know your exact situation but I echo what is above. I also don't think it is worth it to take fall semester off just because they are during virtual classes. Think about this from your bank's perspective, they have to hire someone else to come in for you and then wait six months for you to graduate and then start off cycle. Personally, I think it makes sense to take my fall semester classes but I don't know your situation.
