Military Service Recruiting Timeline

Hey guys short dilema here, wondering how the industry professionals would approach it

So I'm in my sophomore year but I have to go to do 1 year and a half of mandatory military service. If I go end of sophomore year, basically can't recruit for junior year BB internships. Another option for me is going in Jan, coming back 2020 June/July hopefully finding a boutique internship, and networking for my junior year BB internship.

What do you guys think? Do you guys think this is feasible/are there any suggestions on how to best secure the sophomore year internship in such a short time line?

I have some small PE shop experience and some finance club leadership but things look tough... thanks
