MM PC SA to IB FT (PCA, Rx, FSG, Lev Fin, Other coverage)
Wondering if there are realistic opportunities to move to an IB group after spending a summer at a direct lender in their sponsors group. Mainly want to keep my options open for PE, HF or something else that may not be credit later down the line. Also, the firm I am spending a summer at does not invest across the cap structure and mainly limited to senior.

All of the except for top Rx groups are doable. Make sure u network well, have a compelling story on why IB, and have a great handle on everything u have done in the internship
Are more mid tier Rx firms possbile?
Probably but Rx is hard because it’s the flavor of the cycle and the technical bar has been risen to an insane heights due to all the hardos.
