Morgan Stanley Profit rose 12 percent in 3Q17

MS joins the list of other major banks on declining trading revenue, as it saw an 8% decline for 3Q17. The bank, on the other hand, saw its profit grow to 12% YoY, mainly due to the strong performance of its wealth management division and higher investment banking fees. Net income rose 12% to $1.8Bil, or $0.93 per share on 3% revenue growth. $MS Morgan Stanley Earnings AlphaGraphics: Q3 2017 highlights http://alph.st/bd128597
