MS Analyst & Associate Base raise - rumours?

Hi Monkeys,

Have you heard anything about MS raising the base compensation for juniors?

I was told that there are "town halls" taking place, but nothing more than this. Would you expect them to match JPM/BAML/Barclays and others?

If MS is like GS then prob if they raise at all it’ll still be a discount to other banks. Sounds like they are trying to pay their employees with just talk/town halls and other non-cash compensation forms rather than paying them more USD or whatever other local currencies their analysts and associates want

banks generally don’t like to spend money…. They are in the business of guarding money, not spending it so much I think…. But I could be very wrong

The girls will be impressed when I tell them about the “Talks at GS”
