haven't done it myself but normally there's a numerical test, then a business plan case with a presentation and final interview with ED / MD

Normally they mix the GCM and IBD OCs and SAs also but not sure if that's changed

curious to ask on your timeline and when you did your HV and TI because I am at the HV stage at the moment

Prospect in IB - Gen

Depends when did you do your HV?

Got the HV about a week ago but nothing since completion. Only worried because I know MS tends to move quite quickly. Have you heard back yet?

Anyone still waiting after TI? Did mine 9th Oct so assuming been dinged

Yeah I saw July as well as the January offer but the January one appears to have disappeared- must have been deleted.

Anyone knows when i should hear back after final round? I just did my final round on last Friday and still waiting to hear back. Appreciate mine is for MSIM, not IB so would love to know when you guys heard back for offer after the AC.

Not but for a diff division at MS. Offers tend to come quickly if everyone is in agreement but waiting isn’t unheard of

The case itself isn’t anything crazy. I’d focus on being comfortable with valuation, basic accounting and walking through a transaction logically rather than trying to prep for some super specific case. Also be ready to defend your assumptions, they seem to care more about how you think than getting every number perfect. Good luck!

Based on what others have shared, I plan to focus on valuation, basic accounting, and transaction logic, while practicing how to clearly explain my assumptions and reasoning. The goal is to demonstrate structured thinking and problem-solving during the case discussion, rather than just getting every number perfectly.
