Need Advice - Angry VP

Hey guys, so I just called a VP who was one of my interviewers during the superday (BB NY IB). We really hit it off and he called like 4 days ago to get me to sign. I decided to sign at another firm for complicated reasons, and he said that it wasn't fair what the other firm did to me and that he would tell HR in his bank about the dirty move that the other bank made to get me to sign.

Do you think that HR in his bank will care? Will they reach out to my bank? I just want to make sure I don't get in trouble with the bank that I signed. Thanks for your advice!

If you didn't reneg, you should be fine. What will their HR tell your bank? "Guys, this dude took YOUR offer instead of ours." It'll make them look stupid. Maybe you shouldn't have given him too many details about why you're taking the other offer but you really should be able to take whatever offer you think works best for you
