Need Guidance for SA - IB in NYC

Guys, I am a non-target student who's looking for SA positions for IB in NYC, but haven't had much luck.

Background: international student, 3.8+ GPA, previous ER internship, IB internship this summer that got canceled, part of the highly selective honors program on campus, and also have a couple of competitions where I have placed 1st out of more than 10k people, plus another competition that my team placed very well across the US. I have also been told that I am the top student from my uni (we have some regional OCR).

Current results: I struck out after getting through to the superday (the only superday I have had) at one of CS/DB. Got till the 2nd round at another firm (Baird/WB) for a non-NYC city but turned out they didn't sponsor (got an interview through a referral) so that paused. I am in the process at another firm right now (Deloitte/EY) for IB for a tier 2/3 city. I was getting a lot of traction at some of the top banks in one of (CHI/HOU/BOS) but most of those processes have been paused cuz of COVID. I also had a good network at BofA but they have just delayed their apps as well.

I didn't get a superday at a regional BB office even though I had the best interview of my life there, and I later found out that the interviewer had also written a glowing recommendation for me, plus I had at least 2 other people who had referred me there so don't know what got me dinged.

Interviewing: I am really solid on technicals (and have hardly missed any questions in any of the processes)

I am basically doing everything I can. I believe I have a good resume, I have spoken to more than 60 people on the phone while networking, most of the convos I have had have been awesome but for some reason or the other, they haven't converted into opps yet. I have not yielded any results for the efforts that I have put in the past 5 months.

What can I do to improve my results and get the coveted summer internship? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
