No IB internship before recruiting
I feel like nowadays everyone either has a PE, IB, or search fund internship, virtual or not, before actual recruiting. I have a couple internships but none of them are those. Are these a big difference maker? Should I be in a scramble to get one for the fall?
No, from my exp, at my nontarget with semi-decent pipeline. Kids with the best GPA's and club exp typically got best outcomes. Had mid GPA - and not in main IB club- with significantly more finance exp, and was getting around a third of the amount of processes
