Non prestigious work at bank

Is it worth taking a none prestigious job at a bank during my summer break at university studies? It is not an internship nor in an department that I could be seen as prestigious. The pros I find are that I get some experience (is it going to be relevant for ib?) and I also build a connection with the bank.

It depends on the functional role--until you know what you're going to do, no one can help.

At the end of the day, your career journey is all about crafting your story (you are your brand) and you have to sell yourself. So, if you can pull a story, or a set of skills from any role or internship [regardless of the prestige or not] = that's more important... Moreover, if there are no other opportunities over the summer, anything finance related would be better than nothing at all.

Obviously? What kind of question is that? Some experience is always better than no experience
