Received an IB analyst offer (as someone breaking in from a different industry). In the offer letter, it mentioned a Non-Solicitation period of 1 year for clients/employees. Is this the norm for IB analysts? understand this is different than a non-compete.

Don’t think it matters at the analyst level as long as it’s not a non compete. 90 days at my firm tho.(Europe bank)
Honestly my advice is always be careful with these non solicitation/compete agreements. 1 year does seem long .
