Non-Target Undergrad: Masters in Finance?

I am currently an undergraduate at non-target Johns Hopkins. Although it is very prestigious and selective, it is still a non-target. That being said, I am a little worried about landing a bulge bracket internship / future job. There are a few every year who do so, but not like a target school. I think my best chance to enter the BB may be to complete a Masters in Finance at a target school (which I believe I will be a strong applicant for compared to BB). Opinions on the masters route to break in to IB?

Although it is difficult, it's not impossible. If I were you I would start networking as soon as you can. Talk to your school or go on LinkedIn to find alumni and get in contact with them. Networking can go a long way and it can help get your resume to the top of the pile.

Getting a Masters at a BB will definitely help, but why wait? It will pay off to put in the effort now and build those connections for the future.
