OFFICIAL MAY 12 IB PRESTIGE RANKINGS

I’ve seen a lot of blatant misinformation circulating around this forum about the most prestigious investment banks. I thought I’d contribute my knowledge.

As an IB prospect, I have never worked in the industry (and therefore unbiased). Additionally, I didn’t land an offer for SA 2024, so I won’t be swayed to a bank. Actually, I’ve never worked in finance a day in my life.

Please see rankings below: 1. Qatalyst 2. Evercore 3. GS 4. CVP 5. MS 6. PJT 7. JPM 8. PWP 9. Lazard 10. Moelis 11. Barclays 12. BofA 13. Guggenheim 14. Citi 15. Greenhill 16. Jefferies 17. Ducera 18. Liontree 19. Raine 20. UBS 21. DB 22. Allen & Co 23. Rothschild 24. Ardea 25. Houlihan Lokey

Keep in mind, these rankings are coming from an incoming Zaxby’s line cook.

Controversial

Evercore is way too high — everyone I know who works at Evercore is an insufferable hardo. IMO Centerview > Laz > Moelis > Evercore > PJT

PJT is also carried by their RSSG group. Disregarding RX, PJT shouldn’t be near the top 15
