I had a phone screen with the VP, and it didn’t go as well as I had hoped. How important is this phone screen for getting to the superday? Also, how long does it usually take to hear back after the phone screen?

Thats not really that bad. As long as you still answered his question correctly, all you did was give a more direct answer. If they didn’t think you knew how to calculate UFCF, the VP definitely would’ve asked as a follow-up
