Fixed Income Trade Idea:
Trade Idea: Swap Trade in FNMA Bonds - Current Market Conditions: Given the current market conditions, where spreads might be widening due to economic uncertainties, a swap trade could be beneficial. - Example: If a client owns a AAA FNMA 3’s 1/16th of 20 at +10 basis points and the syndicate is offering a similar FNMA bond of similar credit quality at +20 basis points, you can pitch a swap. The client can sell their current bond and purchase the new bond, capturing the additional spread.
