Plan B - Screwed up during recruitment

So I'm the definition of suck. I really screwed up recruiting because I couldn't close any of my super days and now I'm facing for the worst: not having anything for Junior summer...

I've interned in i-banking and corporate development/strategy before, so I don't think I'm totally screwed experience wise. I just need to figure out something cool to do for the summer that'll be alright come FT recruiting.

I'll keep chugging away to see if I can find anything for now, but I figure I should be prepared.

Any ideas? Mucho gracias. You guys have been a wealth of information and help so far, and I really appreciate it.

Best regards, BankingWaffle

Would it be risky to do something outside of finance that's just plain interesting? How would something in politics play out? Lobbying group? Think tank?

Cheers.

A Fellow LinguistIf you're looking for cheap, forget Planned Parenthood. Just fall down the stairs a few times "on accident" and pat yourself on the back for a job well done.
oldmansacksu cudn't get anything with that experience? whats your educational background. Just hit up all the boutiques in the US and say you will work for free.

I'm more of an old-fashioned coat-hanger person myself.

But yeah, I'm from a target with an above 3.5 GPA. I just suck terribly at interviewing I guess. That and I will admit I was a little lazy with networking.

Note to self: Find a new interview prep buddy for full-time + build my network...

Cheers.
