Plz Help, Lost in SA26 Recruitment

Sorry if this post is repetitive and lost among the gazillion other SA 2026 advice seekers. I am genuinely a bit lost and uncertain about where I am in the 2026 recruitment cycle, and I would really appreciate some prospective or wake-up-call. At a target, non-diversity, STEM major; while everyone around me is getting r1s, superdays, or offers (congrats RX), I am sitting around with no legit first rounds (only automatic hirevues). I tried my best to network last semester and fired 170 emails with about 21% conversion rate - the chats are usually north of 30 minutes, and I felt they were good-decent. Joined organizations during my freshman year and had several finance-related internships. I took hard classes and maintained 3.9+ GPA. I would really appreciate any advice on improving or getting some down-to-earth grilling about my current situation. I know getting an investment banking offer requires serious effort, but I am just wondering what I can still do to improve my odds or learn from my previous failures to gear up for a full-time recruiting cycle. Perhaps I am a bit impatient with the process, but I also want to know when failure comes and prepare early for diverting to other industries. Thanks in advance for any advice!
