Lot of emphasis on networking in your case with no experience? Always a lot of networking in any case, but do you think you had to spend extra effort on that without the relevant experience?

I go to a target as well so I had a lot of peers who had interned in IB willing to connect me or give me emails of HR staff that I could reach out to directly. Cold email them with a resume and short blurb about yourself in the body of the email and ask to chat. The next step would be them setting up a chat with you to determine if you're a good fit to enter their interviewing pipeline. What are you doing this summer?

Not for this summer. Extend grad 1 semester to December 24 and recruit for SA24. You will need to work your ass off as recruiting is happening now, but target school will help.

Very few firms do fall internships, mostly small ones. You could break into IB with that (do fall + get FT offer there) but it will be at a smaller boutique, not a BB/EB/MM. I'd also look into PE firms that do these off cycle internships

If you go to a target, don't firms (big and small) come to your school? I'd also go to the career center folks, they might be able to connect you or point you in the right direction. Finally, your school probably has a comprehensive alumni database, so filtering through that and cold emailing will work too. I got a PE offer my soph summer doing that (didn't end up taking it tho.)

Yes - make an effort to leave a + impression when networking, always follow up and this is a new one but try to see if you can volunteer or help out at a place the seniors recruiting are associated with have seen this work out a few times as it could lead to the right introduction being made or something in common for networking. Also hit up alumni or recent hires from your school. Good luck, you got this!
