Potential Steps to Take Now for Trying to Lateral Later?
Hi fellow Monkeys, I hope everyone has been safe and well. I am a senior about to graduate from college, and I will be joining a middle market bank in NY (probably virtually and given that I am not let go of) as an IB Analyst. I really want to try and lateral to a BB or EB down the line. I was wondering if this community has any tips on steps that I should start taking to try and possibly lateral in the future? I know this post might sound kind of annoying, but trust me I'm not interested in moving to the buy side and would like to stay in banking for some time. Thanks!
