Presentation on an M&A transaction

Hi all,

Have been tasked to do a 10 minute presentation on an M&A transaction which will be followed by a Q&A.

What should be included? Initial thoughts:

  • Slide 1: Target profile
  • Slide 2: Acquirer profile
  • Slide 3: Strategic and financial rationale behind transaction (any thoughts on synergies and accretion / dilution)
  • Slide 4: Thoughts on valuation (vs precedent transactions).
  • Slide 5: Challenges and potential risks following the transaction

I intend to look at a public deal. What sort of questions may be asked? Thank you in advance.
