Private Credit to IB?

Hey guys, I’m a current sophomore at a non-target. Recently accepted a MM Private Credit offer for sophomore summer but am looking to recruit for IB junior summer. Do I have a shot? If so, what groups should I specifically target?

Why wouldn't you have a shot? Seems like a pretty decent stepping stone internship.

Currently interning at a UMM PC fund and received multiple offers for IB FT (I’m on a 1 Year internship). Mostly have received offers from Levfin groups at T2 Banks but aside from that have had traction with M&A groups albeit usually harder to recruit for given there’s a difference in the modelling and process. At this stage in your career though you should be fine, any finance experience is good at this stage and this is as good as it gets outside of doing an IB internship.
