Private Funds Groups / PCA?
What’s it like working in private funds advisory or PCA / secondaries advisory groups? Anyone know what the general work and responsibilities are like?

I get that secondaries is a “new” space but there’s like a million threads on here at this point about this topic. Most are recent and up to date.
Aren't they two different groups?
It depends on the bank. Some banks have more integrated groups across the two and some operate fully independently
Does anyone have any information on gp solution groups on the sell-side? Know many are new but wondering about comp, exit opps, overall trajectory of market, etc.
What are the typical exit opportunities for a PFG analyst? PCA can do secondaries PE or try for traditional buyout, but I haven't heard much on PFG if its a distinct other group.
For most people that is the exit, usually see people jump to other banks, placement agents or go in-house somewhere. Have also seen more junior people make the transition to the LP side
