Product Control to FO

Hey boys,

Recent graduate of a northeast non-target and 8 months into a PC role at a BB.

To keep it short, I have seen this move accomplished internally by alumni from my university and from neighboring schools (positions such as sales, S&T analyst program, IB, research etc, etc).

In my short tenure at this position, I’ve concluded that networking seems to be the number one thing to focus on as a product control turd.

Was hoping some light could be shed on this topic, or if any solid advice is out there.

have some balls and go straight to the MD of the group youre targeting with a speel on why your a great fit and hand him your CV. ive seen it all as well, ops to IBD, S&T, Quant... just need to be audacious about it. any audacity is easily corrected with more audacity.
