Prospects in IB
Hello everyone,
What are the prospects of breaking into IB as a former high level collegiate student athlete at a top west coast school, but a degree in something other than finance? Does knowing people/having connections really make that big of a difference? Or can one still get a BB or EB IB internship without the finance degree, connections, etc.?
Impossible
This. Don’t even try
Are you still a collegiate athlete or a rising sophomore? If so, I found recruiting to be pretty easy. If you are able to manage the workload and get good grades, being an athlete shows people that you can manage your time well, perform under pressure, be a team player, and can be held accountable.
I just finished my athletic career as a fifth year (due to injury one year), and I used my fifth year to do graduate school in non finance related master's program. I currently have one more quarter of classes left to finish my master's, but am on the verge of getting a finance related internship during the fall while I finish up.
iz ur name brock
Chad Bradford IV
Nah lol he just said former athlete like Stanford so my mind thought of Brock turner
I currently have one more quarter of classes left (pretty light load of classes) during which I am planning on getting a finance related internship.
