Protected Saturdays / Weekends?

It looks like my MM is finally adding a "protected Saturday" for all analysts and associates. I'm aware some BBs have had protected Saturdays or protected weekends for a few years now. Is the "protected Saturday" policy actually enforced at BBs? Do you end up doing the same 4-6 hours of work at home or do you actually get 24 hours to do whatever you want (obviously still checking the phone once in a while). I assume the policy probably goes out the window during live deals, but do analysts and associates actually get Saturdays to themselves assuming no deals are live?

Any input is much appreciated. I'm just trying to set realistic expectations for my future Saturdays lmao.

Thanks!
