Thoughts on moving from being a Senior Associate in PwC Advisory (focusing on a Provider's revenue cycle) to Investment Banking?
Realize it is a very difficult leap and I'm at a significant deficit compared to other candidates, so any advice on the steps I should be taking to make myself a better candidate / pad my resume would be much appreciated.

Would suggest transferring to the transaction services group to get some transaction and financial experience. The DDV (or M&A advisory) group mostly does integration work from my understanding so may not be that applicable for ib interviews
makes sense.. any benefit in looking into their valuation services group, realizing they do a majority of audit work?
I know a guy that jumped from valuation to BB IB. It was through a connection and he had to start as an analyst but he does work at a PE now. Several of the valuation people I know are ex-bankers so might be worth looking into.
Similar iterations of this have been asked and answered many times on WSO. Unfortunately, the standard answer, and probably not one you're looking for, is to switch to a transaction advisory role within your firm. Without transaction experience of some type, moving from the Big Four to IB is very, very difficult.
I know one person who made the jump from B4 consulting to IB, but they went to Stern so I don't think they were viewed as much of a high risk candidate.
If someone is looking to get into IB post MBA, what pre-MBA experience would be most favorable: IB Ops, any role at Big 4, or consulting? Also, which of these 3 would admissions at a top b-school look upon most favorably, all other factors equal?
Big 4 b/c you need to understand the inter-workings of financial statements.
