I have made between 5/600k - 1.2mm depending on performance.
Why did you choose activist hedge fund vs. staying in PE? How did the opportunity arise?
Lots of activist firms are moving away from activism. Do you think there'll be a resurgence of the practice or will it continue to shrink?
Do you engage in any distressed activism? If so, how do you perceive the more recent developments in the rx space (LMEs, lender-on-lender violence) wrt activism in the near and long term?
What did Bill miss during his campaign against Herbalife?

How do you approach engagement with your targeted companies? Are your theses based on anything other than arguing for changes to capital allocation strategy?

How does the day-to-day of an analyst at your firm differ from pod analysts? Appreciate the MM vs. SM debate is highly regurgitated but am more looking for a comparison of the type of work, analysis, lifestyle, coverage, etc.
