Nomura and TD are out of the picture. Green tech has proved to not help the Nomura brand over the last 3 years, and Cowen was not a strong bank at the time of acquisition for TD. UBS has stated they are not interested in building out IB over the past years so this won’t go much further either.
The only banks on this list that can seem to benefit from anything is Mizuho’s acquisition of Greenhill and Santander’s acquisition of some CS seniors, only time will tell if this turns out well for them.
