recent deal discussions

when yall are asked to talk about a recent deal you've been following, do you usually give a different deal according to the coverage group that you're interviewing, or just one that you're generally interested in

not sure if saying that I've been following a deal in oil & gas industry closely would come across as inauthentic.

Plz don’t put critical thinking skills on ur resume

In all seriousness, bro if you’re interviewing for oil and gas, you probably want to mention an oil and gas deal. Pretty self explanatory. You’re articulating an interest in that specific industry, even if your interest is fake

honestly reading my question again, i realize how dumb i sound. appreciate the response man, gonna just talk about an oil & gas m&a deal lol
