Rejection -- Adding Insult to Injury

Haven't been able to get past the 2nd round in interviews - haven't been outright rejected at the handful of firms I interviewed with - but no callbacks.
When I got back to the office, my VP chewed me out a bit (not sure how much he was joking or outright being a dick) and then handed me and the associate a fat markup due Monday - that's cool.
Good thing:
1) I'm hoping for more interviews (aka time away from my cube)
2) Associate's going to be out of pocket for most of the weekend.
