Reneging BB for PE?

Hey guys,

I would appreciate any insights you might have as to whether it is worth it to interview for PE roles after accepting an offer at a top BB after the summer internship. How likely is the bank to find out I am interviewing? I go to a core target, so worried that people in the PE firm might know people at the bank in which I accepted the FT offer. Thank you very much for your help!!

Reneging is a bad look, especially if you suspect people in the firms may know each other. Just stay the course and get a PE offer after your analyst stint. If you already accepted the offer, there is no reason you should still be interviewing.
