Many of the boutiques and middle market firms tout business models that are resilient to volatility in the markets, including the M&A space. For those of you at platforms with restructuring and/or sizable asset management businesses, are such claims true?
I assume these adjacent businesses slow, but certainly can’t stop, any bleeding associated with nonexistent M&A activity.
