Rothschild SA without M&A/IB Experience?
Hello everyone!
I was invited to the Rothschild Assessment Center without any relevant M&A Experience. Do you think that this is a chip on my shoulder and that I still have a solid chance at the internship? For reference: I have top grades at a target uni and a couple of finance internships (non-IB).
If anyone completed the Assessment Center, I would also be glad to get advice on how to land the internship!
Please be realistic! :-)
I mean i wouldn't imagine so. Most top institutions aren't always looking for people with the most experience; they tend to look for "smart people" who are teachable with a basic grasp of accounting, finance and numbers. So I think you'll be ok. If you're worried look up the 400 IB technical questions and study the basics in each section.

no, its for Frankfurt. Are you in the AC for LDN and do you think that lacking deal experience is a problem if im already invited to their AC?
