RX Fulltime Recruiting

Hi guys, currently a junior at a target going into a solid MM Coverage group this summer. Recently I have developed a passion for restructuring and really want to give FT recruiting a shot. I am wondering which RX shops generally have spots available for FT hires historically? Would really appreciate any insight!

To be honest, there are only ~10-15 major RX shops. Some will start recruiting full time spring / summer / and hold Superday's in early fall.  Keep searching handshake, company websites, and linkedin for postings. Doesnt hurt to do some networking ahead of time.

OP here - even for SA -> FT? What if with extremely extensive networking?

Anyone that I know of who did this came from EBs or top BBs for their SA. I also know that Evercore RX started their FT process during the summer (around week 8) this past year.

Yeah it would probably be expected, but all those guys coming from EB/BBs are also likely doing extensive networking.

Having recently gone through the FT process (not for RX), you do sometimes need to realize that chips might be stacked against you with certain groups and that they are looking for a certain profile of a candidate that you aren't–for example, one group I was in the process was composed of alums from two specific schools, and most people outside of me in the superday were from these schools.
