SA 2026: Apply Jan 1 or wait 1-2 weeks to have something for sophomore summer?
What the title says. I've been told:
1) Having "Incoming XYZ" for Sophomore Summer is helpful for resume screens
and
2) Apply when Apps come out
As an exercise, say I'm in a process for landing something for Sophomore Summer that would be helpful and P(Success)=.8, but I wont know if I got it until ~Jan 7-14. Should I still apply to SA2026 opportunities with a slightly weaker resume to stuff on Jan 1, or would it be better to wait for the response.
