I know a lot about philly, what do you mean, in terms of living area?
The city itself is much smaller than New York, where in NYC there are always people on the streets at all hours, Philly is empty after 6pm with the exception of Friday and Saturday nights (the freaking subways close down at 12:30am). However, there is a nice cultural core to the city, some great restaurants and some affordable (and still nice) suburbs.
