SA WFH Setup?

Saw a couple posts on this last summer, but I was wondering what setup worked well for you guys? Also any recs for a good monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk, chair, etc. I figure HR is gonna let us know about going virtual soon, and would like to know what to spend my stipend on if my bank gives one.

^100% this. I don’t know how your firm plans on doing the internship (training entire time or some live deal exposure), but I do know that a second monitor will make a world of a difference regardless. Being able to have an excel sheet open on the other screen was a game changer for financial edge training. Also proved invaluable in the intern project for quick transitions between your deck and public filings. No need to get a crazy setup for this though. Two 1080p monitors off Amazon did the job for me.

Outside of that, the next biggest thing would be a nice ergo chair. Since there are many days you spend 10+ hours on your butt, a nice ergonomic mesh chair will do wonders for your back. While a fancy Herman Miller would be nice (but not budget friendly at all), you can find decent ones like the Staples Hyken or IKEA Markus ergo chairs for ~$200.

As for keyboard and mouse, nothing special needed here and it all comes down to personal preference. A $15 Logitech wireless mouse with 3 programmable buttons should be perfectly fine. I went with a plain jane wireless keyboard with low travel. If you like mechanical keyboards, I guess now would be the time since nobody will hear you click-clacking away. Not a necessity though. The only other thing I would highly recommend are wrist rests. My table was destroying my wrists after a few days. A wrist rest made a huge difference. Best of luck!
