Santander Bank - NYC Culture
Anyone have insight on WLB / average hours per week work at Santander Bank in NYC, particularly post influx of new hires from CS? Have heard good things about the culture in the past but not sure if that's still the case.

Definitely on the up. Bill Raincsuk runs their TMT, was one of the best in the biz at CS. LevFin brought a lot of Jim Amine's protégés, so you know they're top class. Growing bank in US but will be a WF comparable in 3-5y. LevFin has good volume rn, same with TMT

Bill Raincuck hasn’t seen a sizable enterprise software deal since the tech boom in the late 90s. Guy needs to hang up his keyboard and mouse and accept his fate as a hardware banker with the highest pitched voice east of the Mississippi. Might also be on the spectrum too.
On the up and probably better than HSBC/ competing with BNP in my eyes but from what my friend has told me I certainly would not go there for WLB lol
